These general terms and conditions of sale apply to all purchases made on www.gocciashoes.com. Please read them before placing an order: by placing an order you accept them. They comply with the Italian Consumer Code (Legislative Decree 206/2005) and with Legislative Decree 70/2003 on e-commerce.
The products are sold by Goccia S.n.c., Via Pellicceria 12/r, 50123 Florence, Italy, VAT number and tax code 05688750487 (“Goccia Shoes”, “we”, “us”). Email: info@gocciashoes.com.
Our online shop is intended for consumers, that is people buying for purposes outside their business or profession. The contract is concluded in English.
We describe and photograph our products as accurately as possible. Colours may look slightly different depending on your screen, and natural leather always shows small variations in shade and texture, which are part of its character and are not defects.
Prices are in euro (€) and include Italian VAT. Shipping costs are shown before you confirm the order and depend on the destination (see our Shipping policy). For deliveries outside the European Union, import duties and local taxes are not included and are paid by the customer to the courier (see section 7). The price that applies is the one shown in the order summary when you place the order.
To buy, add the products to your shopping bag, enter your details at checkout, choose the payment method, accept these terms and confirm with “Place order”. Before confirming you can check and correct all the details in the order summary.
After placing the order you receive an email confirming that we have received it. The contract is concluded when we accept the order by preparing it for shipment; we will send you an email when it is shipped. If a product is no longer available or we cannot accept the order, we will inform you by email and refund the full amount paid within 14 days.
Your order is kept in our system and you can see it in your account (if you have one) and in the confirmation email. The invoice is included in the parcel.
You can pay by credit or debit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), Apple Pay or Google Pay. Payments are processed by Stripe on secure systems: we never see or store your full card details. The amount is charged when you place the order.
We ship with tracked couriers. Orders are usually shipped within 1 to 7 working days; if this is not possible we will tell you by email with the new date. Delivery times depend on the destination. When your order is shipped you receive an email with the tracking number.
For destinations in the European Union, duties and taxes are included in the price (DDP, Delivered Duty Paid). For all other countries, shipments are DDU (Delivered Duty Unpaid): the courier may ask you to pay import duties and local taxes before delivery. Please check them with your local customs office before ordering.
The risk of loss or damage passes to you when you, or a person you have indicated, receive the products. Please check the parcel on delivery and report any visible damage to the courier and to us.
You have the right to withdraw from the contract, without giving any reason, within 14 days from the day you, or a person you have indicated, receive the products.
To exercise it, send us a clear statement before the 14 days expire, by email to info@gocciashoes.com or by post to the address in section 1. Then send the products back to us within 14 days from your statement, following the instructions in our Refund policy.
The direct cost of returning the products is paid by you, except for faulty products. The products must be returned complete with their original box; please try them on only as you would in a shop. You are responsible for any loss of value caused by handling the products beyond what is necessary to check their nature, characteristics and fit.
We will refund all payments received from you, including the standard delivery costs, within 14 days from the day we receive your statement of withdrawal, using the same payment method you used for the order. We may wait to refund you until we have received the products back or you have shown proof of having sent them, whichever is earlier. If you chose a delivery option more expensive than our standard one, we refund only the cost of the standard delivery.
For deliveries outside the European Union, if you return the products because you changed your mind, we refund only the price of the products, minus the Italian import duties and taxes charged on the return; shipping costs and the return shipping are paid by you (see our Refund policy).
All our products are covered by the legal guarantee of conformity of the Italian Consumer Code (Articles 128 and following). We are responsible for any lack of conformity that becomes apparent within 2 years from delivery. If you find a defect, please write to info@gocciashoes.com with your order number, a description and some photos. Depending on the case, you are entitled to have the product repaired or replaced free of charge or, if this is not possible, to a price reduction or a refund. In case of a confirmed defect we pay the shipping costs.
The guarantee does not cover normal wear and tear, damage caused by improper use or care, or the natural characteristics of leather described in section 3.
We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control (for example strikes, natural events or courier disruptions). Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer under the law.
We process your personal data to manage your order, as explained in our Privacy policy.

These terms are governed by Italian law. If you live in another country, you also keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live. For any dispute with a consumer, the competent court is the one of the place where the consumer lives.
We may update these terms. The terms published on the website when you place your order apply to that order.
